Stanley was a good friend and always a pleasure to be around. After retirement Stanley would frequently visit the F. Donald Myers Education Center, his former work place.
Rest in peace Stanley Burger, you will be greatly missed.

Stan was a great guy and never failed to help in solving building/maintenance problems for the teaching faculty at Saratoga BOCES. When a problem came up ,I knew I could count on Stan.
When Stan retired I urged him to travel out west and visit me where I summer in the Columbia Gorge between Washington and Oregon .In 2009 I got an email from Stan saying he was going to be in the area and we met up . It was my pleasure to show Stan and Carol this part of the world I love . I admired Stan's adventurous nature in exploring across this great country and his love of wild places. He will be missed.

We are so sorry for the loss of Stan. He was always so kind to us. I misread the service times and we are very sorry not to be there. But, my faith, we plan to see Stan again.

Although I didn’t know Stanley, his brother Doug was a good friend of mine in high school. Would like to get together again. Sincerest condolences and prayers to the entire family from Colorado!

Carol:
We were sorry to hear that Stan had passed. We have many good memories of you and Stan over the last several years. Included was getting to stay in your RV park when you and Stan worked at Yellowstone. Also, meeting by accident in Florence, Oregon. Kathy and I also remember a lot of breakfasts at the Old World and other places near Port Charlotte, Florida.

We were so looking forward to Stan coming back to Florida this winter. He will be missed by his golfing buddies here. I’ll always remember how far Stan could hit his drive. We were just never sure of what direction the ball would go. I loved his sense of humor and his laugh. Rest In peace my friend. God bless your family.

Stan was a good friend and will be missed. We spent many hours golfing, antique hunting and dining. He was an expert at negotiating deals and made friends easily with his good sense of humor. He was a bright spot in our many trips to Florida. Our condolences the family and his significant other - Carol.
