Obituary of Russell James Nason

Russell James Nason, 60, a resident of Victory Mills, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Saratoga Hospital with his daughters by his side.

Born November 10, 1957 he was the son of James and Dorothy Ruff Nason.

Russell owned and operated R& G Upholstery for over 40 years.  He excelled at what he did and acquired clients all over New York.  He loved the outdoors, fishing all over from freshwater to the ocean, and he enjoyed shooting.  He was a homebody and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by 1 daughter, Dawn Richard; and 1 sister, Deborah Longo.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 32 years, Grace Nason; 2 daughters, Linda Nason and Laura Nason; grandchildren, Angelina and Sam; siblings, Susan Beasley, Joan (Charles) Kyriacou, Glenn Nason, Jesse (Michelle) Nason, and Adam Nason; special cousins, Minnie (Aaron) and David Nason, many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3pm  Sunday with Celebrant, Jason Easton, officiating.
