Obituary of Donald D. Rogers

Donald D. Rogers, 70, a resident of Burke Rd., passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born March 4, 1948 in Moriah, NY he was the son of the late Charles and Ruth Tucker Rogers.

Mr. Rogers enjoyed working at Victory Specialty in Victory Mills where he was early to work every day for 30 years.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, model trains and spending time with his grandchildren.  He spent a lot of time having coffee with the guys at Stewarts and also with his grandson at Cumberland Farms.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Doug and Tony, and his sister Joyce Lockwood.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Janet Vincent Rogers of Quaker Springs; 1 son, Michael (Barbara) Rogers of Pennsylvania; 2 daughters, Eva (Michael) Jeffords of Schuylerville and Dawn (Vince) Palmieri of Saratoga Lake; 7 grandchildren, Becky, Brianna and Gabby Rogers, Mikey, Evan, and Dylan Jeffords, and Krystal Rogers; 3 great grandchildren, Kadyn, Jordyn and Finlay and soon to be Declan; his grandpuppy, Breezy; 9 siblings, David, Danny, Joey, Lyle, Herbie, Mary, Janie, Donna and Julie as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held from 2-5pm Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the American Legion Hall, Clancy St., Schuylerville.
