Obituary of Mary E. Dodson

Mary (Kelly) Dodson, 72 a resident of Lewis Rd in Ballston Spa, went to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 18, 2019 at her home.

She was born on November 29,1946 in Cambridge, NY to the late John and Daisey Riley Kelly.

Mary had an infectious smile and loved to make those around her laugh, she would light up any room she was in.  She loved her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren dearly.  Mary enjoyed writing poetry, reading, cooking out, crocheting, making towels, sewing and sitting out in the sunshine. 

She will be dearly missed by her Faith Chapel Church family where she was always seated in her front right pew spot and was there faithfully every Sunday, her desserts will be greatly missed. 

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband John Dodson; sisters Nancy and Patricia Kelly and her brother Donald Kelly.

She is survived by her loving daughters; Fran Opulski and Kelly Aubin; companion of 14 years Rick Filion; grand-children Misty Aisdrio, Ashley Ruthosky, William Bullard, Dennis Kretser, and Jordan Kretser; great-grandchildren Lilly Hoins, Mathew Bullard, Diego Araliano, Mia Guirezta, Angel Aisdrio, Elena Aisdrio, Anna Hunt, Lily Hunt, Summer and Anjel; brother James Kelly.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Faith Chapel Church, 6 Burgoyne St, Schuylerville, NY, 12871 with Pastor Scott Cutting officiating.
