Obituary of Idalee M Sanders

Idalee M. Sanders, 85, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Teresian House in Albany, NY.

Born October 5, 1933 in Addison, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Joel and Dorothy Randall.

Idalee earned a degree in Nursing from Memorial School of Nursing followed by attaining her School Nurse Teacher license.  She served as a School Nurse Teacher at Mechanicville Central School District as well as working as a nurse at Saratoga Hospital.  She was a longtime member of the Fort Miller Reformed Church, serving as a Deacon.

In addition to her parents, Idalee was predeceased by her husband, Neil Thomas Sanders and her grandson, Sean Curtis.

Survivors include her children, Neil Trevor (Colleen) Sanders, Rona (Robert) Sanders, and Tanya (Robert) Curtis; grandchildren Jared (Kristin), Kevin, Kyle, Abby, Evan and Ryan; great granddaughter, Avery; and special niece, Eleanor James.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Fort Miller Reformed Church, 1239 Fort Miller Rd., Fort Edward, NY 12828.  Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Quaker Springs.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, NY 12871.
