Obituary of Veronica Davis

Veronica Davis,76 a resident of Spraguetown Rd in Greenwich passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Saratoga Hospital.

She was born March 18, 1943 in New York City to the late Burl Owens and Mary Crotty.                             

Veronica was a loving kind person who carried a sarcastic sense of humor.  She loved trips to Saratoga, yardsaling, shopping, traveling to Florida with her husband Gordon and dining out with him.  She attended Salem Central School.  Veronica loved her husband, children, and grandchildren dearly.  She will be missed greatly by her family and all that knew her kindness and caring ways.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Eli St. John; sisters Elaine Demarsico, Muriel Barrett, Lillian Bain, and Renee Nix; brother John Owens.

She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years Gordon W. Davis of Greenwich; daughters Wendy (Phil Anderson) St. John of Greenwich, Julie (Tom) Walsh of Cossayuna, and Mary Ann Owens of Mechanicville; sons Richard Jenkins of PA, Joseph Owens and Eli St. John Jr.; brother Frank (Connie)Owens; sister Yvonne Crotty and Rita Allen; grand-children Phillip Anderson, Sonya Daniels, Derek Owens, Thomas, Casey and Monica Walsh, Nolan, Linda, Lola, and Richard Jenkins Jr. Heather Camfield, Jessie Owens and Kendra Fuller; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special niece Veronica Bounds.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm Thursday, May 9, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, County Rd 52, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. Martin Fisher officiating.
