Obituary of Jimmy Kalkowsky

KATY, TX, Cambridge, NY - James “Jimmy” Kalkowsky, formerly of Cambridge, NY, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on June 9, 2019 at the age of 55.

James is survived by his mother, Fay Kalkowsky, of Greenwich; his sons, James Kalkowsky Jr. and Joshua Kalkowsky, and their mother, Cheri Kalkowsky, of Houston, Texas; his sister, Jacqueline (Mike) White of Greenwich, his brother, John (Beth) Kalkowsky, of Mohawk, as well as several nieces and nephews, and the many friends he made during his travels.

James is predeceased by his father, Charles Kalkowsky.

James will be remembered for his adventurous spirit which took him on travels all throughout the United States. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Lake Forest Hospital, Lake Forest, Illinois, as well as the staff at JourneyCare Hospice Center, Glenview, Illinois for providing the utmost care and dignity to James as he traveled through their state on his way to yet another adventure.

A private celebration of James' life will be held at the discretion of his family.
