Obituary of Leo Michael Nevins Jr.
Leo Michael Nevins Jr., 62 a resident of Glens Falls passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 20, 2019, surrounded by his friends and the volunteer caregivers of the Open-Door Mission.
He was born May 27, 1957 in Glens Falls, NY to the late Leo Sr. and June Nevins.
Along with his parents and two sisters Leo grew up in Thomson, NY. He was a proud member of the Green Sabre’s marching band serving as their conductor. He worked at the Saratogian as a pressman for many years as well as McDonalds. Leo had an amazing sense of humor; he was considered a smart-ass but in a funny way, everyone he encountered enjoyed being around him. He married Marie Gratton and together they had a daughter Erica, who he was extremely proud of. He loved watching the 3 stooges and most recently was very active in serving the lord.
Survivors include his daughter Erica (Paul) Mulvaney of Ballston Spa, NY; grandchildren Brooke and Brodie; sisters Sherri Crowd and Robin Nevins; 3 nieces Lee, Diana and Amanda; nephew Jacob.
Services are pending at the convenience of the family.
