Obituary of Kathleen Virginia Clark-Jamison

Kathleen Clark-Jamison, 70, a resident of Greenwich, NY and a child of God, went to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at Saratoga Hospital following a brief battle with cancer. She was born March 9, 1950 in Queens, NY to the late James and Agnes (Patterson) Clark. In May of 1978 Kathleen Clark married her late husband Max Jamison in Ozone Park, NYC. They shared a wonderful 36 years together. Together they had two beautiful children Matthew and Sarah. As a family they would travel to their camp at Lake Lauderdale, eventually moving to Greenwich, NY from Queens. Kathleen was a special lady, first and foremost a child of God who loved Jesus Christ and her faith was unshakeable. Second, she was a mother to her children, at times she could be old school, but she fought hard for them and everything she did was for their benefit. She could quote scriptures and enjoyed studying the word of God and she was proud of being saved by the blood of Christ. Kathleen loved to cook, especially the Turkey for Thanksgiving always shared around the table with family. She loved the four seasons of NY especially springtime when flowers are in bloom and new life is springing up all around. Kathleen had a deep love for reading and was a historian of American History. Many summers were spent volunteering at the Schuyler House in Schuylerville, NY. Her proudest moments were marrying the love of her life Max Jamison, the birth of her two children, holding her precious granddaughter in her arms, and celebrating the union of her son Matthew to his now wife last August. Left to cherish Kathleen’s memory are her beloved children, son Matthew T. Jamison and his wife Jesselyn of Glens Falls; daughter Sarah and her spouse Lexi of Hudson, NY; grand-daughter Max-Lillian Jamison-Matza; brother John (Carol) Clark of Columbus, OH; beloved friends Herb and Mary Arnold of Salem; as well as many friends of Bill W and beloved lap dog Sparky. Due to COVID-19 restrictions funeral services will be held privately at 4PM on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with Pastor Herb Arnold officiating. She will be interred with her husband in the Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date.
