I wish to send my condolences to all who have been touched by Scott and are grieving. I worked with Scott in the Self Direction Pilot for the past 3 years. Though there were many miles between us, we were in contact almost daily. He was always in good spirits and ready to go the extra mile to support and help problem solve. It was evident that his passion to help and be there for people extended beyond his professional life. I thank him for what he has taught me, and the time spent sharing antidotes from our lives.

I know Scott from our work together at the Office of Mental Health (OMH). It was a distinct privilege to work with him on the self directed care project and I was touched by your website tribute to Scott. He was an exceptional analyst and always a good steward of resources to support the patients we serve. OMH was very fortunate to have Scott on the team and our lives were blessed to have known him.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends. Scott was a great colleague and public servant and will be sorely missed by all of us at OMH for both his talent and friendship.

Scott was a gentle giant, polite and so sweet. He bailed me out of car trouble more than once and taught me so much about how to take care of my car in the winter without egotism or condescension. He cared deeply about his work and his colleagues and will be truly missed. May his memory be a blessing to his family, friends and all who knew him.

Sending my condolences to Scott's family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and every individual he aided in recovery through his work at the Office of Mental Health. Scott and I worked within the same program across the state, and he had a challenging role that he met with humor and open-mindedness. I learned through our work collaboration that he is a dedicated and caring person and that is reflected in the words others shared here.
Sincerely,
Lauren Stander

I was very sorry to hear we lost Scott. Everything said in his obituary was true and more. What a very kind and helpful soul. I sat over the wall from Scott and was blessed to have such a very considerate neighbor. Scott was amazing with his clients and his co-workers. Very professional, very sharp dresser, kind, and very funny! I will miss him. Very Sincerely, Kat Raymond
