Obituary of April Desnoyers

April Desnoyers, 55, a resident of Greenwich, passed away at home on Thursday, December 10, 2020 following a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 12, 1964 in Cambridge NY to Richard and Mary Lou (Waters) Blackmer. April was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was always cheerful and outgoing. A smile was always present on her face especially when she was with her family. She most recently worked as a personal shopper for Walmart in Saratoga Springs and enjoyed crafting. She would make extravagant quilts, cross stitch works of art, needle point gifts and she loved drawing. April loved to work with chocolate clay work making roses out of chocolate and sugar free treats. Her smile will be missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her mother Mary Lou Blackmer. She is survived by her husband Alan Desnoyers; sons Steven (Candace), Timothy (Sarah) and Christopher Desnoyers; Father Richard Blackmer as well as friends, coworkers, and extended family.
