Our sincere condolences to Dave’s family, loved ones and friends. We were newbies in the neighborhood and Dave was a great neighbor to us. He gave us chickens, beef and eggs when we moved in. He was always kind and helpful with any questions and always willing to lend a hand. At the first snowstorm he called to see if we were ok and needed anything. Another time Larry got his “Baby Tractor “ (as Dave called it) stuck in the snow and Dave came over with his big CAT front loader and pulled him out. He then proceeded to plow our driveway for us. Dave was such a great guy and we wish that we could have been his neighbors for 30 years and not just a year and a half that we were. He will be sorely missed.

He was the first friend I made when I came up from NYC,he was a great dude. Met up with him in key west where I kept a motor home and let him stay there
Always could count on him if I needed help

When we moved to town, you were our first friend and quickly became our best friend. You were just at our house last week bringing us eggs, smiles and laughter, like always. You gave us so much help, and you pulled me out of a ditch at 1 in the morning. We will never, ever forget you’re big white beard and your heart of gold. We are so incredibly brokenhearted.
Love you always,
Paul & Victoria Napolitano

As a former Harrington (Jacki) Brownie has been a fixture in my life since I was a little girl. He was a kind and gentle man who has a place in many of many childhood memories, as well as later in my life. I always used to joke about giving him a free haircut and beard trim which of course he always refused! I will miss seeing him in his truck or on his bike or in Stewart’s. So very sorry that he is gone.
