Obituary of David H Brown

Dave H. Brown, 59, a resident of Easton Station Road, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 18, 2021, at his home. He was born October 6, 1961 in Cambridge, NY to the late Howard and Geraldine (Marra) Brown. A lifelong Easton resident, Dave, who was a local farmer, cared deeply about his family, the land, and loved to hunt. Dave enjoyed the freedom of riding his motorcycle and travelling to Key West and anywhere warm, with his fiancé and family. He was a history buff and always had a passion for the history of places he travelled. Dave followed in his father’s footsteps advocating for family farm life. His passion went as far as advocating for all small farmers, and in his youth was a member of the Greenwich FFA. Dave was a member of the local co-op and representative for the documentary “Grazers A Cooperative Story”. He served his community proudly as the Fire Chief for the Easton Fire Department, Station Number 2. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Steven M. Brown. He is survived by his children Jennifer Brown, Joshua (Tania) Brown and Kimberly (Andrew) Wucher; fiancé Donna Barron; brother Robert H. Brown; grandchildren, Trenton Bulluck, Jeremy, and Joseph Wucher; several extended family and friends; his beloved bull mastiff Coco. A celebration of David’s life for immediate family and friends will be held at 4pm on Wednesday, January 27,2021 at the N. Cambridge Stump Church, Stump Church Rd, Greenwich, NY, 12834 Family and friends may call from 2 – 3:30pm prior to the private service. Burial in the N. Cambridge Stump Church Cemetery will be held in the spring. Due to COVID-19 restrictions masks and social distancing will be required inside the church.
