We were friends when our daughters and your son, Brian, were members of the Baldwinsville Marching Band. We were part of the Parent volunteers. You were President and John was treasurer. I tried making a list of all of the things I purchased from Tom over the years and lost count. He always worked so hard to solve problems for broadcasters - such a pro. I loved every time he came to Vermont, too... it was always fun visiting with him.

Tommy my old friend, I have to light 1000 candles because without you, the whole world has gone dim. I honestly feel sorry for all those who never met you, for they will never know the kindness and humor that my pal spread everywhere. You are and always have been my friend, and always will be. I dont have many friends left in this world, so I cherish the ones like you. So many thoughts and memories swirling, I dont know where to start or stop. The old Margaret St crew, rafting on Jardines' pond, jumping on the freight trains, making that tree house (that I fell out of) in your backyard, Band, Gauchos, military.You were the only one of the old gang who wrote to me when I was in Nam. Although i have never been part of Facebook, you somehow tracked me down when my brother Kevin died suddenly, and showed up at his funeral. A true friend in every sense. We made plans then, but they all got skewed by a long sequence of events, but we'll get to them at some other time buddy. You are leaving a great legacy for your family and friends to cherish. To all your family, my thoughts and prayers are with you and I share in your loss. Tommy, you have always dealt with each situation with class and integrity-we should all follow your lead. I went to High School with Tommy & Barb -they’re the best couple ever! I know Tommy has gone on to Heaven to organize groups of Angels from our class up there...I just hope their shenanigans won’t upset the others! Seriously, my prayers & sincere condolences go out to his family at this sad time. You can’t help but invoke some humor when saying his name—plus it helps to ease the pain a little knowing he’s really gone. His legacy will live on for decades for all he’s done. R.I.P. old friend. My husband Jim and I where classmates of Tom's back in Baldwinsville, NY. We kept in touch over the years through email, Facebook and class reunions. Tom was always a champion of his classmates and helped hold the Class of 65 together with working on the many reunions and updates of fellow classmates through out the years. I always held dear to my heart the time Tom showed up at my husband's sister funeral when she died unexpectedly at 49. I thought that was one of the most thoughtful gestures a person could make. Tom I do believe that you have earned your place among the angels and that you will once again begin to organize the reunions of our departed classmates.
