I was so saddened to hear that Margaret had passed. I was her FedEx guy. I generally delivered her meds and they always came in a big box, which she could never understand because it wasn’t a big bottle, so I would help her unpack them and take the box and ice packs away for her. I always tried to make it my last morning delivery because I knew we would end up talking for a little bit…lol…we would share stories from the past and she would always explain how she was doing. God Bless you Margaret, I will miss your kindness and smile, bells on the back porch, , and especially the stories and time I spent hearing them…..peace.. : )

Margaret taught me how to serve in the Lituargical Music Minstery as a Cantor; a ministry I have cherished for years. She was there in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception when I had the unique blessing to serve as cantor for the rite of election in March of 2004. I learned so much from her expertise in liturgy and her love of music, teaching and just being present with the church community. She had an infectious laugh and a dry sense of humor that took some off guard; but those who knew her took everything with a grain of salt. Margaret, your love always shined through; and now you are fluffing your wings, polishing your halo and living in the everlasting light of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Yes you are also enjoying your time with Saint Joseph, the Blessed Mother; and your beloved parents, siblings and especially "Uncle" Father Aurigemma. Margaret, I will always carry a song in my heart because of you!
