Obituary of Carroll Bates

Carroll J. Bates, 57, of Callahan Rd., Schuylerville, NY passed away on September 10, 2021. Carroll was predeceased by his mother, Joan Burns, his father, Edwin Levi Bates, his beloved uncle George and aunt Janet Barton, and his beautiful sister, Diane Byrnes. He is survived by is soulmate Holly Gailor; his son, Kyle and daughter, Nicole; his brother, John Bates; cousin, Jesse Byrnes; many close family members and beloved friends; also his Nook and Jeffrey. Carroll loved “his people” and playing his drums -as loud as he could. Carroll was known for his sense of humor, love of life, a true friend to all, and a true brother. Our beloved Carroll will be so missed by all, but know for sure, he’s playing the biggest show with Eddie V. We love you Carroll Bates for goodness sakes. There will be a Celebration of his life from 3-6pm Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the American Legion in Schuylerville. Wear a Rock T and come celebrate Carroll’s life.
