Coach positively impacted so many people and I am lucky to count myself as one of them. He helped to make us stronger, capable and caring people. And could Coach make you laugh! He had a million stories and sayings - I used many during my coaching - my favorite is - Palmer, you are not useless, you are a good bad example! RIP Coach, we carry on your work.

To Coach. Even though I never played football I always had a great respect for you and enjoyed your gym class and your support for me during basketball with the jerk coach we had at that time that got fired after I left. Your mentoring made me a better person. May You Rest In Peace and to Deborah and Gary my condolences we served in different services but had good times when we got together. I will be away during the ceremony but wish you and your family the best, he lived the good life. Robert Hanrahan

There is a whole generation of young men that owe Coach Kenyon for their development not only as athletes but for their moral values and self discipline. Always tough but extremely fair. Although I moved from area I often though of Coach and the impact he had on my life. Few people have had the impact Coach Kenyon had on me and I am extremely fortunate to have played for him and have him as a friend. Proud of his Marine service he is now with Saint Peter guarding the gates of heaven in his dress blues. Semper Fi Coach.

One of my most proud accomplishments was being named a Co-Captain of our 1971 team.
I am a better person.father & husband due to those lessons learned from coach over those high school years.

I only got to see my uncle twice in my life that I recall, once when I was five and once when I was 59. I did talk with him on the phone several times and will hold the stories close to my heart. I was so proud to make him a Descendent of the Green Mountain Boys in the Summer of 2019. A great father and Coach of so many. Thank you for your Service to the Marine Corp Bud and God’s Speed. All our love to his family and we know that he is with Betty, the love of his life.
