Obituary of Gerald Kelly

Gerald Kelly, 77, a resident of Corinth and formerly of Schuylerville, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Mary’s Haven in Saratoga Springs. Born January 28, 1933 in Greenwich, he was the son of the late John and Florence Dumas Kelly. Mr. Kelly had worked for many years at the Stevens & Thompson Paper Mill in Middle Falls and the Golden Fleece Paper Mill in Greenwich. His hobbies included fishing and bowling. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Wolfe Kelly; and brothers, Robert and Jackie Kelly. Survivors include 2 sons, John J.(Valerie) Kelly of Ft. Edward and Gerald T.(Debbie) Kelly of Greenfield Center; 4 daughters, Sharon (Martin) Luongo of Ft.Edward, Rosemary (Wayne) Hoch of Corinth, Donna( Doug) Zeno of Greenwich, and Betty Jean (Kevin)Brown of Cossayuna; 4 brothers, Eugene, James, Richard and William Kelly; 5 sisters, Marie Salley, Catherine Bain, Betty Warner, Lois Adamson, and Joan Weir; 13 grandchildren , 20 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1pm Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Notre Dame Cemetery, Schuylerville with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, NY. Memorials can be made in his memory to Mary’s Haven, 35 New St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Mary’s Haven for the care given to Gerald to make his last days comfortable.
