Obituary of Charlotte Ann Kelly-Russo

Charlotte Ann Kelly-Russo, 81, of Mechanicville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 16, 2022.

 

Charlotte was born June 3, 1941, in Albany, to the late Adalaid and David Kelly.  She graduated from Vincentian Institute in Albany, where she played classical piano, was a member of the Glee and Latin Club.

 

After high school she pursued an accounting degree at Mildred-Elly.  Her nearly forty-year career in the automotive industry was spent doing various office jobs.  She liked and excelled in the DMV side of the business.

 

She was very athletic, excelling in bowling, swimming and especially golf.  She was a member of the Brookhaven Golf Course.  Throughout the years she won many different tournaments, including the MS tournament, the Genesee Open and the GMC tournament. 

 

She loved to dance, was full of life and loved animals especially birds and cats. 

 

Charlotte settled in the Saratoga region, where she was a loving Mom too her two daughters Jody Heinze and Tina North.  She was the wonderful grandmother of Robert North Jr. and Aric North.  She will be missed by all, but especially close family members Christopher Clark and Linda Carmody.  She will also be missed by her best friend George, whom she shared many years of fond memories. 

 

 In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Joan and brother David.

 

The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Saratoga Hospital for all their support.

 

Honoring her wishes services will be private at the convenience of the family.
