Obituary of Thomas R. Drew Sr.

Thomas R. Drew Sr., 85, a longtime resident of Victory Mills passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Saratoga Hospital.

Born September 26, 1937 in Schuylerville, NY he was the son of the late John A. and Lillian Wood Drew.

Thomas was a graduate of Schuylerville Central School and was a Veteran of  the US Navy.  He was employed by Hollingsworth and Vose in Clarks Mills for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Mary Drew; his daughter, Tracy Drew; 2 sisters, Alberta Davis and Kathleen Lant; and 5 brothers, Malcolm, Charles, John, Francis “Holly”, and Robert “Skipper” Drew.

Survivors include his children, Cindy Biggie of South Glens Falls, Thomas R. Drew Jr. of the Town of Saratoga, John Drew of Victory Mills, and Mary K. Drew (William Simmons) of Greenwich; 1 brother, Joseph Drew of Greenwich; 1 sister, Yvonne Drew of Schuylerville; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A committal service will be held at 11:30am Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY. A gathering will follow at the American Legion Hall, Clancy St., Schuylerville.
