It is with great fondness I remember the life of my godfather Gary Lynch. His zest for life and all the unique, cool stuff he did continues to bring a smile to my face and in my heart.
To Barbara, Brian & Eric and families, best wishes during this difficult time. Please take some comfort in the broad impact he had on so many lives - he leaves a strong legacy!

I am thankful for the time I got to chat with Gary at his granddaughters wedding in SC. I know he leaves a great legacy through his son Eric and his family. Good fruit grew from a good tree. High intellect. Honesty and integrity. A family with faith in God and Jesus. I know he is smiling in heaven. Success is when those who know you best love you most. He was certainly successful! He made a difference in the lives of many. Mine included. Lean into faith and smile knowing there will be a reunion.

Mrs. Lynch, and family - I am so sad to hear this news. Mr Lynch was an amazing teacher, helped to spur my love of all things science and medical information. He was very much loved by all of the Class of 81 who loved to joke with him and tease him about the knitted ties he wore. I have a special fondness given my dad was part of the many gifted builders among the HV faculty. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing. - Joanne Wilsey Hensler

In 1977, when I was 15, Gary and Bucky Thompson helped my father, AL Woelfersheim, erect a peaked roof over our chronically leaking flat roof. I did all I could, but. Gary and Bucky were a force to be reckoned with. The roof remains, on the fireplace store across from the High School and next to the Masnoic Lodge.
Such an immeasurable life of service

To the Lynch family,
It was sad to hear of Gary’s passing. Brought back a lot of good memories of him with most of them with his smile. Not sure when it transitioned from “Mr.Lynch” to Gary after I graduated, but would run into him T Wiley Bros. getting materials for one of his jobs. I can always remember him in his T-bird, with a ladder strapped to the roof and his trailer.
Gary was one of the teachers that had a positive impact on many lives. I thank you for that “Mr.Lynch.”
Rest in Peace, but I’m sure he will be busy building something

Just two days ago I told a friend Mr. Lynch was my favorite high school teacher. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. My brother, Bruce Martin, was one of the fellow teachers who did carpentry with him. They had some great times together. May God bless you at this sad time. I will remember him fondly.
