Obituary of Ellen Pultorak

Ellen L. Pultorak, 79, a resident of The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 11, 2023, ending a long battle with Alzheimer’s. 

She was the daughter of the late James and M. Letha Cronin Little.

Ellen believed to live by the Golden Rule.  She achieved her bachelor’s in nursing from Adirondack Community College with a 4.0/4.0 and worked for the Veteran’s Administration in Buffalo, NY, and later Glens Falls Hospital.  For the past 55 years she has been married to the love of her life, Dr. Francis S. Pultorak.  She enjoyed helping others, sewing, and traveling alongside her husband.

She will be remembered as a kind, caring, compassionate women, who always put the needs of her family and others, before her own.  Ellen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great mother “Gone but not forgotten”.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Charles C Little and multiple grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Francis Pultorak of Buskirk; children, James (Jennifer), Brian (Robin), Patricia (Brian) Daviero, Mary (Shay) Price, and Richard Pultorak; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, J. David Little and sister Margaret Seymour; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 9 am on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich.  Burial will follow in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Greenwich, NY.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Flynn Bros, Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834.
