Obituary of Malcolm Wells

Life Legacy Malcolm L. Wells, 88, formerly of Westernville, NY and Greenwich, NY passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his daughter’s home in Glens Falls. Born October 10, 1925 in Durkeetown, NY he was the son of the late Linus and Gladys Wells. He was predeceased by his wife Geraldine Ruth Wells; his sister Carolyn MacDonald; and brothers, Merwyn and Lloyd Wells. Survivors include his son, Rod and wife Cora; daughters, Audrey and husband Ray and Vanessa and husband Tom; Grandchildren, Brian and wife Bonnie, Keith and wife Tonya, Eric and wife Bethany; step-grandchildren, Stephanie and Tommy; great grandchildren, Brian J., Summer, Reese, Charlee, Larson, Bryce; step-greatgrandchildren, Sawyer and Charlie; close and special family friends, Dawn and John Mennucci; brothers, Lee and wife Barb, Loren, Nat and wife Lorraine, Clyde and wife Jean; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. Burial will be in Monkton Ridge Cemetery, Monkton, VT. Friends may call on Saturday from 10;30-11:30 prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to extend many thanks to High Peaks Hospice and especially his aide Stacy and nurse Phil. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his memory to your local food pantry or High Peaks Hospice, 79 Glenwood Ave., 2nd Floor, Queensbury, NY 12804. “Keep up the good work”
