Obituary of Marion Blanchard

Marion Wadsworth Blanchard, 97, a resident of Haas Rd., died Friday, July 02, 2010 at her home. Born December 28, 1912 in Argyle, NY she was the daughter of the late Judson and Anna Gilchrist Deyoe. Mrs. Blanchard had worked at the Dress Shop and Hudson Pulp and Paper Tissue Mill in Greenwich for many years. She loved gardening. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Morris Wadsworth and Carl Blanchard; 2 sons, Donald and David Wadsworth; 1 daughter, Joyce Buhr; 1 brother, Charles Deyoe; and 3 sisters, Helen Bain, Alice Duntley, and Carrie Bell Tracky. Survivors include her 2 sons, Morris Wadsworth of Cambridge and Mark Wadsworth of Victory Mills; 2 daughters, Jane Heslin of Valley Falls and Joan Bounds of Cambridge; 1 brother, Nathan Deyoe of Argyle; 1 sister, Louise Rice of South Glens Falls; 30+ grandchildren, 70+ great grandchildren, 20+ great great grandchildren, and several great great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Argyle. There will be no calling hours.
