Obituary of Patricia B. Jackson

Patricia Burkin Jackson, 90, a former Greenwich resident, died Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Indian River Nursing Home in Granville. Born November 19, 1919 in Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Kenyon Burkin. Mrs. Jackson had taught at the Greenwich and Salem School Districts. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich and was a member of D.A.R. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband George Jackson in 1986. Survivors include her special friends, Sandra and Harry Lomasney of Saratoga Springs; 2 stepsons, John and George Jackson of Guilderland; and cousins, Arlene Wilford,Joan Fiske and Esther Durham. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwich Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9-9:45 prior to the funeral mass at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich.
