Obituary of Ian C. Merrill

 Ian Christopher Merrill, 22, of Greenwich, passed away April 14th, 2023.

He was the son of Jon and Kathleen Merrill, and brother to Celia, Tess and Evan Merrill. Ian graduated from Greenwich High School in 2019, where he was a member of the football and lacrosse teams and went on to attend Hudson Valley Community College majoring in Business Administration.

Ian was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson and friend. All who knew him were touched by his sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and luminous personality. He was passionate about his beliefs and had many goals for himself and his family. Ian was very fond of the outdoors and enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, cars and travel. He was very independent, self-motivated, and dedicated to improving the lives of the people he loved.

His memory will forever be in our hearts.

A community gathering for family and friends to pay their respects, will be held from 2 to 6 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Flynn Bros, Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834. 

A funeral mass will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Greenwich, NY.
