Obituary of Charlotte A. Youmans

Charlotte Youmans was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister, and daughter.

She always put her family first.  Her entire world was her children and grandchildren.  There is nothing she wouldn’t do for them.  She was their biggest supporter and best friend.  She cheered them on and stood by their sides through anything.  She always had a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen.  She was the greatest mother in the world to her children and the best Nana to her grandkids.

She was the strongest woman we knew. Her hugs always melted away all the tears, sorrow, stress and fear.  Her laughter always filled the room.  What we would give for just one last hug.  She wasn’t afraid to stand up for what was right and she never backed down from anything.  She left her strong will and heart of gold in each one of us kids and grandkids.  You will be forever in our hearts.

Charlotte was predeceased by her father, Earl Winchell.

Survivors include her husband, Greg Youmans; her mother, Carolyn Hemingway; brothers, Earl Winchell, George Winchell and Clifton Winchell; daughters, Alicia Busha, Shannon Busha; son, Joshua Hunt; grandkids, Kiara Cenate, Kiersten Cenate, Hailey King, Seraphina Boivin, Paisley Boivin, Kiyana Busha, Jace Busha; stepsons, Greg, Matt, and Nick Youmans; daughter-in-law, Crystal Youmans; and granddaughter, Madilynn Youmans.

A service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 for family and close friends.  Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Quaker Springs.
