Obituary of Lyman A. Lambert

Lyman A. Lambert, 56, husband of Laura Delboccio Lambert passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Born February 6, 1960 in Cambridge NY, he was the son of the late Robert R. and Marie Oths Lambert. Lyman graduated from Cornell University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He worked as a Superintendent of the Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, Long Island for 26 years, where he worked tirelessly. Most recently he was employed at the Landtek Group. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Melissa Ellen Lambert and brother-in-law Ken Peregrim. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Laura Delboccio Lambert of Plainview, NY; children Lauren and Conor Lambert both of Long Island; sister and best friend Lindy Lambert Peregrim of Greenwich; brothers Mal Lambert and his wife Diana of Greenwich, Warren Lambert and his wife Arvada of Orlando, Florida; father in law Carmen Delboccio; mother-in-law Ursula Braglia, their children Michael (Debra) and Nicholas Delboccio; several nieces and nephews as well as many friends who loved him. Everyone loved Lyman; his smile, infectious laugh and gentle soul. A funeral service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. Matthew Baker officiating. Family and friends may call from 11 to 1 prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Greenwich Cemetery.
