Rich and family
I am so sorry for your loss. Sometimes in life we get to see angels on earth and although I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Dorothy personally I can tell she was one of them. I know it's hard to be grateful at this moment but be grateful for the time she was here with us on earth and that she has her home coming as she takes her spot as an angel in heaven. God bless, your in my thoughts and prayers.

I, myself, do not remember Dorothy, but my father, Donald Bennett, spoke very highly of her. He has told me many stories of the time when he worked for Dorothy on the farm. He said she was one of the nicest people he has ever met. My thoughts and prayers go out to family and the many friends she had. R.I.P.

I met Dorothy in 1977. She became an instant friend. Whenever there was a need for a time to be centered in eduction I could count on her to provide it for me. She brought Pat and I into the "Stump Church" family and made sure we knew all the family members. After we both retired we would see each other at social occasions and the warmth of that initial friendship was always there.
Somewhere in heaven there is a very lucky Elementary class!
Our prayers are with you now, but remember that great smile and warm personality will always comfort you.

This obituary is beautifully written. It is a fitting tribute to a woman who lived her life fully, loving others, giving to others. Dorothy has left a blessing in the heart of each person who knew her. May God comfort you all in these days of sorrow. You have been wonderfully blessed in having your mother, grandmother, sister, friend for so many years.

What do you say about someone who has always just been there? Aunt Dorothy always greeted us when were back home as if she had just seen us. Always remembered our children and they were great great nieces and nephews (and there are a lot of them now). Always fun and upbeat. When telling my kids the news I explained her as my aunt who's always sits in the back pew of the church and they knew just who she was. What a Great Aunt and will be greatly missed.
