Obituary of Joseph J. Reulet

Joseph J. Reulet, 86, of Saratoga Springs, died at his home Thursday, January 12, 2017. He was the son of the late Jules Reulet and Helen [Mrkva] Reulet also from Saratoga Springs. Joe was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Veronica “Toot” Reulet and sister Marie R. Winney. Survivors include one sister, Elaine T. Macica; a son, David F. Reulet; two daughters Judith V. Eustis and Jacqueline M. Roberts and their families. Joe retired from NYS DOT as a heavy equipment mechanic. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and retired as a construction mechanic First Class with the U.S. Naval Reserve SEABEES. Joe also had a passion for racing; cars, snow mobiles or anything with a motor. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 5-7pm Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Friday, January 20, 2017 at St. Therese Chapel, Gansevoort. Interment will follow at noon at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Schuylerville. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga County, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs. Following the services, the family extends an invitation to family and friends to join them at 1pm at The Bookmaker at the Holiday Inn of Saratoga Springs.
