Obituary of Jeffrey R. Fitzgerald

Jeffrey R. Fitzgerald, 41, a resident of Easton, NY passed away suddenly Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. He was born January 30, 1975 in Syracuse, NY to John and Patricia Fitzgerald. He grew up in Syracuse before moving to Gansevoort, NY. He graduated from Saratoga Central Catholic. Jeff was a dedicated worker who always gave his all. He worked for Concord Pools for over 10 years and was manager of Willard Mountain for 20 years. He enjoyed barbecuing on the smoker he built with his father, skiing, spending time with his family and friends, and was a huge Dave Matthews Band fan. He was married to his best friend, Monique, who he knew since they were teenagers. He was very close to his amazing daughters, Macy and Olivia. He loved his bulldogs, Gracie and Franklin, and will be reunited with his yellow lab, Albert, who lived to be 15 years old. He was predeceased by his brother, John Fitzgerald Jr. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Monique Fitzgerald; children Macy and Olivia Fitzgerald; parents John and Patricia Fitzgerald; brother Joe Fitzgerald and his wife Amy; niece Lily Fitzgerald. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. Martin Fisher officiating. Spring burial will be in the Easton Rural Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Flynn Bros. Inc.
