Obituary of Nicholas M. Hawrysz

Nicholas M. Hawrysz, 89, a resident of Bacon Hill, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Albany Medical Center. He was born December 9, 1921 in Markowa, Poland. He moved to the United States in 1978 to be near his son and his family. Mr. Hawrysz was a former employee of the Yaddo and Quad Graphics in Saratoga Springs. Survivors include his son, Fred (Christine) Hawrysz of Bacon Hill; 3 grandchildren, Diane (Daniel) Gale of Gansevoort, Michael (Erin) Hawrysz of Gansevoort, and Nicholas Hawrysz of Bridgeport, CT; 4 great grandchildren, Kaleigh and Myranda Gale and Ryan and Avery Hawrysz. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Spring burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 1-2pm prior to the funeral service.
