Obituary of Marie J. Drew

Marie J. Drew, 74, a resident of Wilton Mobile Park on Louden Rd., died Friday July 15, 2011 at her home after an extended illness. Born June 23, 1937 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alice Winney, and widow of John Drew. She had been employed for many years at Sherwood Medical in Argyle and had also been employed by Hudson Pulp & Paper in Thomson. Her enjoyments in life included online games, card playing and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Vaughn, Ronald, Nathan, and Robert Winney; sister, Diane Winney; and long time companion, Stanley Bradley. Survivors include her daughter, Sue (Philip) Mabb of Saratoga Springs; her son, Michael (Sheila) Drew of Rineyville, KY; 4 grandchildren John and Jeremy Mabb, Samantha (Brian) Browning, and Felicia Drew; 2 great grandchildren, Kayla and Brianna Browning; sisters, Leona Adams, Bertha Sumner, Ethel Millington, and Tina Rivers; brothers, Charles (Elaine) Winney, Anthony (Cathy) Winney, Roy Winney, Cliff Winney, and Clarence Winney; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Notre Dame-Visitation Church with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4-7pm at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
