Obituary of Robert G. Covell

Robert G. Covell, 61, a resident of Windy Hill Rd., Easton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday November 6, 2011. Born in Saratoga Springs, April 1, 1950 he was the son of Robert E. and Mildred (Crissy) Covell. Bob loved spending time with the family, artwork and music. He was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren and playing with his two favorite boxers, Neveah and Naolia. He will always be remembered for his outrageous humor. Bob also enjoyed working for B.O.C.E.S. in Saratoga Springs. In addition to his mother Mildred Rich, he was pre-deceased by his son Rob, sister Eunice Fish and stepfather John Rich Sr. Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Lona (Beagle) Covell; two daughters, Renee Covell and Melanie (Chris)Covell-Crowd, both of Ballston Spa; his grandchildren Xavier, Antoine, Arianna and Trinity. Also surviving is his father Robert E. Covell; three sisters Mary Simon, Lorraine Rich, Eileen Wheeler; one brother, John Rich Jr. and his mother-in-law Hattie Burditt. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 9, at 11am at Flynn Bros., Inc., Funeral Home, 80 Main Street, Greenwich with Rev. Lucie Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwich Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm.
