Obituary of Gerald Bergquist

Gerald “Bear” Bergquist, 18, a resident of Greenwich, died Sunday December 18, 2011 at his home after battling a long illness. Born in Glens Falls November 28, 1993 he was the son of Michael and Linda (Brocca) Bergquist. Gerald was a student at Greenwich Central School. He was well known and loved for his contagious laugh, bright smile and jokes. He enjoyed riding his 4 wheeler, video games, his family and friends. “You made my day Gerald.” Surviving in addition to his parents are three sisters; Deanna Fajen (Darin Raney), Casey Bergquist and Angie Tracey all of Greenwich, two nephews who were like brothers; Jordan and Artie, two uncles; David Brocca and Wayne (Penny) Bergquist and his grandfather Armand Brocca. A memorial service will be held at 7pm Thursday December 22, 2011 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich, with Jean Malone of Washington County Hospice officiating.
