Obituary of Elsie E. Kuzmich

Elsie E. Kuzmich, 89, formerly of Greenwich, NY, died Thursday January 5, 2012. Born April 9, 1922 she was a daughter of Martin J. and Leona (Weeks) Hennahan. Elsie was a resident of Greenwich the majority of her life. She was the proprietor of Elsie’s Restaurant in Greenwich beginning in 1944 and was a member of St. Joseph’s Church. In 2006 she moved to the Overland Park, Kansas area where her two sons and families live. She loved being with her family and met new friends and enjoyed many special family times. Elsie loved the Lord and was a prayer warrior, she will be missed. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Michael, her brother Paul Hennahan and her sister Marion Schermerhorn. Surviving are son Gary and his wife Christy, grandchildren Kristina, Michael, Ashley, Jordan and Benson. And son Wayne and his wife Carla, grandchildren Jeffery (Alexandra), Nicholas (Tamar), Jonathan (Lili) and four great grandchildren Nadia, Emma, Maxwell, and a newborn girl as of January 5, 2012. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 2pm Tuesday January 10, 2012 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Greenwich. At the family request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the association of choice.
