Obituary of Philip Boyce

Philip K. Boyce (Chuck), 53, a resident of Greenwich, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, NY. Born December 4, 1959 in Cambridge, NY he was the son of William Boyce Sr. and his wife Juanita, and the late Mary (Hughes) Boyce. Philip attended Greenwich Central School. From the beginning, he was an integral part in building and operating the family business, BJ Farms in Easton. In addition to his mother Mary, Philip is predeceased by one brother, Frederick Paul Boyce and his aunt, Patricia Boyce. Survivors in addition to his father include, one daughter; Kristina Boyce (Donnie Wadsworth), two sons; Philip Boyce Jr. and Matthew Godfrey. His siblings; Bill Boyce, Keith Boyce, Eva Link, Jeff Manney, Patrick Boyce, Harold (Bear) Manney and Billie Jo Boyce, as well as many nieces and nephews. His granddaughter, Addyson Rose, who was his pride and joy, changed his life for the better in the past four years. A graveside service will be held at 11am Thursday, March 28, 2013 at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Greenwich, NY with Rev. Martin Fisher officiating. There will be no calling hours. A celebration of Philip' life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Tower Two nurses at Glens Falls Hospital as well as Washington County Hospice, especially Deb and Drew. They also wish to thank Dr. Hoffman's office and staff (Cheri and Andrew) for the care and support that was given to Philip throughout his time spent at the office. The family suggests memorials in Philips name be made to the Glens Falls C.R. Wood Cancer Center, 102 Park St., Glens Falls, NY 12801. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich, NY.
