Obituary of Lillian J. Veal

Lillian J. Veal, 75, a resident of Pine St., died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at her home. Born September 1, 1936 in Troy, NY she was the daughter of the late James Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Conklin Donnelly. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 1 son, Michael Veal in 1987 and her husband, Charles Veal in 2005. Survivors include 2 sons, Richard Veal of San Antonio, TX and Patrick (Kimberly Richmond) Veal of Stillwater; 3 daughters, Judith (Frank) Kopa, of Saratoga Springs, Tracy Ricker and Kathleen Veal, both of Victory Mills; 1 brother, Charles Donnelly of Watervliet; 3 sisters, Mary Elizabeth Conklin of Vermontville, NY, Florence Davis and Ursala Abrams, both of Troy; 8 grandchildren, Chris, Amy, Sherrie, Daniel, Madeline, Devan, Daina, and Demetria and 3 great grandchildren, Lily, Victor, and Fiona. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Monday, April 30, 2012 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville with Rev. Martin Fisher, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Schuylerville. Friends may call on Monday from 12-2pm prior to the service. Memorials can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Community Hospice of Saratoga, especially her nurse Dixie for the care given to Lillian.
