Obituary of John H. Manney

John H. Manney, 68, a resident of Cottrell Rd., died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Saratoga Hospital. Born August 10, 1943 in Barnard, VT he was the son of the late Stanley and Margaret Sweet Manney Sr. John retired from the Fort Miller Company in 2011. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Casey Spiezio; sisters Leona Perry and Ann Becker; and brothers, Howard Manney and Stanley Manney Jr. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Manney of Greenwich; his children, Jon Manney Jr. of Tupper Lake, Brian Manney, Dawn Ash, and Margaret Spiezio of Greenwich, Mike Manney Sr. of Glens Falls, and Wayne Manney of Fort Edward; grandchildren, Beth Manney, Mike Manney Jr., Stacey Manney, Christopher Manney, Caitlin Manney, Jaslin Manney, Julia Manney, Amber Manney, Scott Ash Jr. and Haley Spiezio; great grandchildren, Alex Manney and Maxx Eldred; brothers, Franklin Manney of Argyle and Steven Manney; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm Friday, June 22, 2012 in the Greenwich Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 12-2pm prior to the service at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich.
