Obituary of Catherine L. Perkins

Catherine L. Perkins, 89, a resident of County Route 53, Mill Rd., Middle Falls, passed away at her home Sunday, June 24, 2012, with her family by her side. Born October 13, 1922 in Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Dorothy (Woods) Rogers. Catherine worked at the Stevens and Thompson Paper Mill in Middle Falls for several years. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Greenwich. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Perkins Sr., a son William H. Perkins, a brother William Rogers and a sister Marion Brown. Survivors include her son, Robert L. Perkins Jr. (Carol) of South Glens Falls; two daughters, Gloria Perkins of Middle Falls, who was her caregiver, and Robin Morris (Frank) of Greenwich; one brother Manifred Rogers (Louise) of Middle Falls; one sister, Phyllis Rogers of Middle Falls; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and also several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 2:30pm in the Greenwich Cemetery, with Rev. Keith Mann officiating. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday 12-2pm prior to the service at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich.
