Obituary of Jane M. Perkins
Jane M. Perkins, 90, a resident of Bypass Road died Monday, June 25, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Facility, Argyle. Born April 8, 1922 a daughter of Leo and Elizabeth (Corcoran) McCann, she was a lifelong Greenwich resident. Jane was a member of the Catholic Daughters, VFW Auxiliary Post 7291 of Greenwich, Greenwich Senior Citizens and a communicant of St. Josephâs Church. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Donald Perkins Sr., a son Edward (Sonny) Perkins, a daughter Leneta Bell, a brother Edward McCann, and a sister Mary Hall. Surviving are her sons; Donald (Skip) Perkins Jr. (Sue Anne) and George Perkins (Pat) both of Greenwich; her daughters, Mary Agnes Moss (Harold) of New Port Richie, FL and Elizabeth (Libby) Perkins of Greenwich; a son-in-law Harold Bell of Greenwich and a brother Jack McCann of Greenwich; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two special family friends, Harry Clark and Brad Henderson. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Thursday, June 28, 2012 at St. Josephâs Church, Greenwich with Rev. Martin Fisher officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Josephâs Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call from 5-8pm Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich. Memorials in her name may be made to the Easton-Greenwich Rescue Squad or the Greenwich Fire Department First Responders.
