Obituary of Marion Gunset Gaul

Marion Catherine Gunset Gaul, 85, a resident of Greenwich, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Saratoga Hospital. Born December 19, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Nash) Gunset. Marion graduated as an R.N. from Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NY. She then pursued her nursing career from 1948-1985 working as an operating room nurse in French Hospital and NY University Hospital in NYC, Grasslands Hospital in Valhalla, NY, Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY and Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. Marion married Richard Gaul January 13, 1967 whom she was happily married to for many years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister Catherine and brother Joseph. Surviving are her three brothers; Edward, John (Veronica) and James (Chris) as well as several nieces, nephews and many good friends. At her request there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich.
