Obituary of Joe-De Montana Wilbur

Joe-de Montana Wilbur, 26, a lifelong resident of Greenwich died Monday, November 19, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. Joe-de was a loving mother of two boys, Rye and Gunnar Hartnett, while expecting the joy of a third. She cared and protected her children and made it her lifelong calling to know they are happy and loved each and every day. Joe-de is survived by her fiancé, Joe Yurchak; mother, Lynn Wilbur; stepfather Patrick Pitcheralle and her four siblings; Greg Nowakowski, Scott Nowakowski, Kristi Nowakowski and Dakota Wilbur. She was a devoted auntie to Owen Brockway, Brody Nowakowski and Grayson Nowakowski. She was blessed with an auntie Les and Uncle Mark and several other very close relatives. She worked very hard at her mother’s diner; Lynn’s Country Café, and developed many loving relationships there. Joe-de had the power to capture anyone and anything she put her mind to, and the heart to do it with grace. Her heart soared with the wind and she will always be remembered as a passionate young and vibrant woman. She has spread her wings to fly where she has always dreamed of, may we always acknowledge her presence. Family and friends are invited to call at Christ the King Spiritual Life Center, 575 Burton Rd., Greenwich, NY 12834 from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, November 24, 2012. A memorial service will follow at noon. Please wear colorful and comfortable clothing to celebrate Joe-de’ life at the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros., Inc.
