Obituary of Louise B Judd

Louise B. “Peggy” Judd, 96, of The Villages passed away, Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Mrs. Judd was born September 14, 1916 to the late Horace and Clara (Johnson) Bridge in Madison, New York. She moved away from Greenwich, N.Y. in 2003 and began splitting her time between The Villages and Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated from Madison High School and began working later in life and eventually retired from the New York State Office of Economic Opportunity. She was a member of the Bottskill Baptist Church in Greenwich, The Order of The Eastern Star in Greenwich and enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers from around the world. Survivors include her son, Peter (Joan) Judd of The Villages; daughter-in-law, Barbara Judd of Columbia, S.C.; 2 grandsons and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard. Funeral services for Mrs. Judd will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and the interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich, N.Y. A memorial service will be held in the spring at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32621 or Bottskill Baptist Church, 32 Church St., Greenwich, NY 12834.
