Obituary of Leonard A. DuFour

Leonard A. “Bud” DuFour, 68, a resident of Overlook Drive, passed away early Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his home. Born January 26, 1944 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Leonard A. DuFour Sr. and Joyce (Bates) DuFour. Bud traveled around the country employed as an electrician for various power plants. He enjoyed being an amateur radio operator, N2HDS call sign. Other interests included hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his sister, Patricia DuFour. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl (Andersen) DuFour of Greenwich; three sons, Christopher (Dawn) DuFour of Argyle, Scott DuFour of Greenwich and Jeremy (Katana) DuFour of Dulzura, California; two daughters, Shari Smithers of Cambridge, and Jenny DuFour of Hartford, NY. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons. The family will receive family and friends at their home, 11 Overlook Drive., Greenwich, NY 12834 on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 12 to 5 PM. People should come prepared to share memories of Bud.
