Obituary of Leon J. Arevalo

Friday evening, February 22, 2013, in the peace and comfort of his own home, with his partner by his side, Leon J. Arevalo, passed away. Born April 2, 1923 in Los Angeles, CA. Leon spent most of his life in the hotel business there. Retirement was spent living in Hawaii and traveling the world. Later years were spent in Greenwich, NY. Leon was an avid collector of fine arts and antiques, enjoying auctions and estate sales. Leon was predeceased by his mother, Eva Arevalo. Leon is survived by his spouse and life partner of 64 years, Kendall Bacon and also by his beloved poodles, Bryon and Sig. There will be no local services or calling hours. Burial is to be at the Forest Park Funeral Home & Cemetery in Shreveport, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich, NY.
