Obituary of Brian C. Wilson

Brian C. Wilson 59, of Leonard St., Gansevoort, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born December 3, 1953 in Glens Falls, NY he was the son of Ellen Swezey Pezzi and the late LeRoy Wilson. Mr. Wilson was employed as a mechanic for the Town of Queensbury Water Department for many years. In earlier years, Brian worked at Auto Clinic with his stepfather, Joseph Pezzi, and the Boulevard Car Care, operated by Brian and his brother Brad in Hudson Falls. He had also worked at Jim Girard Landscape and CWI, both in Queensbury, and Glens Falls City School. Brian greatly enjoyed fishing with his sons and co-workers, he boated and kayaked with his sons and friends, and especially loved family trips to Maine. He learned mechanics at an early age, honing his craft to become able to masterfully repair any piece of machinery from chainsaws to diesel loaders. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his step-father, Joseph Pezzi and his brother, Timothy Wilson. Survivors include his wife Marina Martin Wilson of Gansevoort; 2 sons, Cody and Lucas Wilson of Gansevoort; 3 daughters, Jan Wilson of Lake George, Heather Wilson of Glens Falls, and Audrey (Mark) Curtis of Ft. Edward; his mother, Ellen Pezzi of Glens Falls; 7 brothers, Gerald (Melissa) of VA, Garry of NY, Bradley (Jody) of NC, Jeffrey of CA, Richard (Jamie) of Ft. Edward, and Mitchell (Valerie) Pezzi of OH; 1 grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10am Friday, March 1, 2013 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville, NY. Friends may call from 4-7pm on Thursday and 9-10am Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
