My "Clyde",
Phil, this world is a sadder, darker place without you in it. I keep picking up the phone to call you and the pain and loneliness remind me that my best friend is gone. You were amazing to me even when I didn't deserve you. You saved me too many times to count but always made a joke of it later. But you saved my life a couple times and never mentioned it again. You were my sanctuary, my best friend, my hero, and you honestly loved me no matter what. You have taught me so much. But you werent supposed to leave me Phil. I miss you so much. Every single day. I love you.

I will always remember Phil’s smile and kindness. He did so much for his friends, family and the community. He had one of the kindest and most caring of hearts. He will never be forgotten as he lives on in the hearts of so many. My heart goes out to his family....much love, hugs and prayers. God bless you all ♥️
I’m lighting a yellow candle for remembrance of the warmth and sunshine he gave so freely. (((Hugs)))

Phil was my neighbor on Main Street, growing up. He was a wonderful boy that became a very generous, giving member of the community. I talked to him a few times at the Greenwich American Legion, where he was an Officer of the SAL, always surrounded by many friends. My Heartfelt Condolence to his family. He will be remembered. Carole, Jim, Laurie, all of Murph's family and all of his countless friends,
My heart is broken along with yours. I will deeply miss my buddy Murph. It makes me so sad to think that there will be no more phone calls from him about a raffle, or pitch tournament or benefit that we need to put together because there is someone in need. Someone recently said that the best way to remember Murph is by paying a kind deed forward, or simply offering a kind gesture to someone who may need it. This would indeed be a wonderful sentiment to honor a wonderful human being who was taken from us way too soon. My sincerest condolences go out to anyone who was fortunate enough to call Murph son, brother, cousin, nephew or....... just a friend.

I had the opportunity to work with Phil for many years with Durrin Transporters. Phil was always friendly and definitely cared about the kids and families he drove for. After my divorce he even managed to find us a donation for Christmas so my girls would have a Christmas. Phil was a very thoughtful and caring man and I am glad to have known him. To his family and friends, my deepest and heartfelt condolences. He will never be forgotten.
