Obituary of Priscilla Fuda

Prisilda “Priscilla” Carmella Mary (Saraceno) Fuda, age 84, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY with her daughter by her side. She was born to the late Joseph L. and Margaret V. (Perna) Saraceno in Stamford, Connecticut on June 5, 1935. She graduated from Stamford High School where she met her future husband, Albert Stephen Fuda. In 1961 they moved to Ridgefield, CT where they raised their two children. After being widowed, Priscilla remained in Ridgefield with her son before moving to Greenwich, NY to be closer to her daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Priscilla’s greatest love was her family, relatives, and her dear friends. She was an amazing mother who created so many wonderful and warm memories for her children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and grandson. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She enjoyed her yard, gardens and hobbies. She was most likely to be found in her kitchen making all kinds of meals and desserts for her family and for anyone who walked through the kitchen door. She was also a gifted artist and she enjoyed decades of crocheting. In addition to her parents, Priscilla is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Albert Stephen Fuda and her brother, Angelo Saraceno. Survivors include her children, Denise Fuda Beck and her husband, Richard; David Joseph Fuda and his wife, Stephanie Angrave Fuda; beloved grandson, Joseph Albert Beck; brother, Raymond Saranceno and his wife, Mary; her childhood friend, who later became her sister-in-law, Helen Fuda; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 1pm Friday, January 3, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Church, 35 Hill St, Greenwich with Rev. Ed Kacerguis, officiating. Spring burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Greenwich, NY. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros. Inc.
