Obituary of Robert C. Moy

Robert Moy passed away on April 25, 2013 at the age of 72. Bob was born in Amsterdam, NY on March 1, 1941, the oldest child of the late Cecil and Gladys Fowler Moy of Galway, NY. Robert moved to Easton at the age of 10 to begin farming with his family and where he attended Greenwich Central School. While farming, he was a member of Dairy Herd Improvement and the former director of the Dairy Lea Co-op. Robert served on many committees in the town of Easton, including the Easton Planning Board and until his death was a member of the Easton Grievance Board. Bob was formerly the president of the Easton Fire Company and was for many years the Fire Chief, eventually earning a lifetime membership. During his free time Bob enjoyed bowling, hunting and traveling across the country. Robert has been married to Beverly (McKernon) for 51 years. Together, they had three children, daughter, Robbin (Anthony) Anuszewski and their children, Michael (Paula), Mark (Nicole Fish), Jason (Mattie Miller), Michelle (Thomas) Skiff, and Jeremy (Tricia); son Robert Jr. and children Kylie and Derek; son Randy (Therese) and their children, Britani (Jonathan) Shambo, Justine (Armando) Ortiz, Alicia (Andrew) Marchaland, Joshua and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren, Alanna and Gracie Anuszewski, Hannah Anuszewski, Kaitlin and Braeden Skiff, Colin and Keegan Marchaland, and Owen Shambo; brothers, Richard (Norma) and Guy (Lyn) and sister Judith (Peter) Wick. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and neighbor who will be missed by many. Calling hours will be held from 5-8pm on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich, NY. Funeral services will be held at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home in Greenwich, NY, on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 10am with burial to follow at the Easton Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flower, please make contributions to Easton Volunteer Fire Company or Easton-Greenwich Rescue Squad.
